London Union launches Canary Wharf venue

London Union has launched Giant Robot, a new street food arena at Crossrail Place Canary Wharf.

Giant Robot can host events for up to 500 guests and will begin taking bookings in May. Located at the east end of London’s biggest roof garden, Giant Robot offers panoramic views of Canary Wharf as well as all-day dining and drinking. The indoor space, featuring a huge, wrap-around outdoor terrace, is Street Feast’s first seven-day-week venue.

Giant Robot houses street food traders including Yum Bun, BOB’s Lobster, Thunderbird and a new addition, Little Jose. The venue also features a 360 degree Island Bar serving cocktails as well as a 38-tap container bar serving draft beer.

In late 2015, Emma Howe was appointed as sales and events director at Street Feast to launch a corporate events arm. Since Howe’s appointment Hawker House and Dinerama have hosted events for global brands including Sky, Facebook and Google.
