Kavita Banger will be working to deliver conferences, meetings and events across the 1,000 delegate, 1,000sqm multi-purpose events space.

She joins the BCEC from Aston Villa FC where she has worked for the last eight years. In her most recent role as food and beverage duty manager there, she gained a wealth of operational experience delivering and running conferences, meetings and VIP events.

Commenting on her hire, Vincent Garrington, general manager at The BCEC, said: "It is a pleasure to have Kavita join the team. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with her and she will make a great addition to the venue team. Our first six months of business have proved very successful, and it’s vital that we continue to build on this success. Joining us in our first year of opening, Kavita will play an integral role in furthering and achieving our goals with a focus firmly on delivering a first-class customer experience."
