C&IT announces new Singapore INSPIRES event

Venue of the Week: Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore

UK event professionals from the likes of MCI, QC Events, Green & Pleasant Events and Delion Global joined agency planners from the Netherlands, France, Belgium and Scandinavia for the five-day event, which concluded today.

The group was welcomed at The Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore where they stayed for the first two nights of the trip. After a sumptuous brunch buffet, an activity that is taking contemporary Singaporean culture by storm, delegates headed out to explore Singapore for the first time with a river cruise passed the city’s skyscrapers and heritage buildings.

The destination was the $6bn Marina Bay Sands, Singapore’s striking entertainment, retail and MICE complex, which is home to the largest rooftop pool on the planet where delegates were given the chance to soak in the vast skyline views. Three of the resort’s ten celebrity restaurants opened up their private dining spaces for the group to enjoy a variety of cuisine’s inspired by North America, Italy and France.

The first day in Singapore was capped off at the stunning and world-renowned Gardens by the Bay where delegates were surprised with an exclusive champagne reception and light reception on the towering OCBC Skyway – the 22-metre high walkway that featured recently on BBC’s Planet Earth II.

Stay tuned for more snaps from Singapore INSPIRES throughout the week.
