AOK Creative expands team

Agency AOK Events has appointed a new managing director for AOK Creative.

The former head of experiential at IMG consulting and account director at Imagination, James Maclay, will head up the live events team for AOK Creative.

Most recently, Maclay has been a freelance event director in both the UK and abroad, working on a wide range of events for clients including HSBC and British Airways.

In his new role, he will lead the strategic growth of AOK Creative, and help deliver creative solutions and services to the agency’s growing client list.

Alex Hewitt, chief executive and founder of AOK Events said: "We are incredibly lucky to have found someone with the vast experience and the fantastic career that James has carved out for himself. He will help us in our quest to become the leading provider of event management services in the UK."

Speaking about his new position, Maclay added: "I am delighted to be joining such a great agency with a fantastic track record. I’ve joined a vibrant environment at a really exciting time to create memorable branded moments for clients. I’m really looking forward to being a key part of AOK Creative’s growth and am thrilled to be working with such talented teams and great clients producing engaging experiences for their audiences."
