GTS started operation in the Kingdom in 1987 and specialises in business travel. The company will provide support for the ATPI Group’s clients across Saudi Arabia.

This new partnership follows the appointment of new network partners in countries including Turkey, Poland, Chile, the Balkans and Sweden, as the group continues to expand its global presence.

Graham Ramsey, chief executive officer, the ATPI Group, said: "Increasing our profile across the Middle East has been a key objective for us as business travel continues to grow in the region, particularly in the oil and gas industry. It is strategically important for us to have a footprint of offices in locations relevant to our clients." He added that when looking for new network partners, APTI Group looked for both regional and sector knowledge.

Shailendra Phillips, general manager, GTS, added: "GTS has expert knowledge on travel management in the Middle East and we are glad to be able to bring this to ATPI’s clients. We are excited to be working together with the team at the ATPI Group and look forward to the benefits that the partnership will bring to our mutual businesses."
