At BA, Pearey was involved in organising charity balls, business events for colleagues across the world, team meetings, recognition events and office celebrations.

In her new role she will manage the event delivery team, while personally managing and delivering events in addition to implementing quality standards for event delivery.

The role will report into Phil Madden as CEO and will be based at Bluehat's office near London Bridge.

Commenting on the appointment, Ben Parkinson, commercial director, said: "With a constant drive for the best client event experiences, we’ve created this new role to lead our team of project managers. The core focus remains to consistently deliver the best pre-event and on-site client experience possible. Bringing in Becky from a large corporate organisation as BA, will help us understand where we can progress our processes to enable us to improve our quality standards further still. It’s this desire to continually evolve and improve that keeps us ahead of the pack."
