The C&IT A-lister previously held the position of senior business development manager at Zibrant, where she oversaw new business relationships while managing the accounts of existing clients. Her decision to leave was motivated by "significant changes" the agency was going through and she "wanted to move in a direction that enabled me to develop relationships and help empower clients through some changing and challenging times."

Commenting on her new appointment, Lowe said: "I’m passionate about relationships and opening up new doors and as Head of Business Development, this role has given me a fantastic opportunity to do just that. I can see a big tipping point on the horizon when it comes to the way we connect, interact and communicate and I’m excited to be with such an insightful agency who are leaders in this space and are already empowering clients to think differently."

Laurence Croneen, founding director of Deeper Blue added:  "Katie has joined Deeper Blue at a really exciting time -   as an agency, we recognize that there is change ahead and as communications consultants, we need to have a deep rooted knowledge of our industry and our clients. Her experience in building client relationships is key to our development and we’re delighted to have her on board."
