Last night (26 January) the Victoria & Albert museum in South Kensington hosted the rebranded SEC’s annual Burns Supper.
Event professionals from the likes of George P Johnson, Fisher Productions, and Smyle, as well as a host of association planners and industry press, attended the traditional celebration of Scottish poet Robert Burns, where there was plenty of whisky and haggis on the menu.
A drinks reception was followed by the Burns Supper where guests dined on haggis and sirloin steak and afterwards hit the dance floor for the Ceilidh. As well as the traditional Burns Night Address to the Haggis, Selkirk Grace, bagpipes and speeches guests were also treated to the news of the SECC's rebrand – renamed as Scottish Event Campus (SEC).
