Following six months of consultation and development with Microsoft, the platform is now live. The new cloud-based technology means event planners will get a more streamlined experience across desktop, tablet and mobile. There is now a greater selection of venues in addition to a faster search and match filter.

Commenting on the relaunch, Eventopedia CEO Toby Heelis said: "This product development positions Eventopedia for rapid growth owing to the easy integration, via our API, to leading business and hospitality platforms.

"This technology has allowed us to gain significant traction with multinational corporations, event agencies and global hotel chains. This fits with our long-term business strategy to create firm-wide efficiencies and dramatically reduce the daily workload of all event planners."
