Case study: EA Games Battlefield 1 launch

To celebrate the launch of Battlefield 1, SN2R helped games giant EA to showcase its new release to its head office staff in Guildford in October 2016.

Objective:

Battlefield 1 takes the player back to World War 1 where they can fight as infantry, lead horse charges or take control of land, air and sea vehicles, from tanks and biplanes to gigantic Behemoths, so it was fitting for SN2R Ltd to transform EA’s reception area into World War 1 set.

Challenges:

The challenge was to create an element of surprise and for all staff members working at EA to be able to enjoy the transformation. The reception area was chosen for this reason, as all 300 staff enter the building through this entrance. SN2R worked overnight in order to impress EA staff turning up to work. When they arrived they found themselves in an authentic looking  World War 1 bunker. Decorations and props in addition to army officers demanding ID for entry, created an authentic experience.

Verdict:

Director of SNR2 Nicola Reardon said: "Once again we are delighted to provide another interactive event for EA, to support the launch of Battlefield 1 and bring the battlefield to their headquarters."
