Pure Events creates new role following growth

Pure Events has appointed a business development manager, a newly created role for the agency, after recording 20% year-on-year growth for the past four years.

Nicola Roodt joins from Crazy Cow Events where she will focus on maintaining long-term client relationships, as well as creating client events across Pure Events' roster.

The creation of the new role follows five new client wins including Ocado, and the appointment of Richard Waddington as chairman in 2016.

Commenting on Roodt’s new role, managing director and founder of Pure Events, Charlotte Wilson, said: "I believe that Nicola will be a great asset to the growing team. She has that something special that we always look for when growing the team and I am sure she is going to achieve great things here."

Roodt commented: "I am delighted to be working at Pure Events, and see an exciting future ahead of me here. I have never worked for a full service event management agency, so I am looking forward to learning as much as I can and delivering excellent results for the company."
