The Norway division has recently hired Maiken Eriksen as senior client and project manager, after its move to the Telenor venue in Oslo.
The agency initially opened an Oslo office earlier this year, with business performance to date and a growing team demanding larger premises. The agency has performed strongly this year, which saw a 300% growth in profit.
Commenting on her appointment, Eriksen said: "I am delighted to have joined the George P. Johnson family. Being part of the new Oslo office is a great privilege, and I really feel that I’m contributing to something great. Having a background as a project leader, and for the last three years working within business development at Telenor Arena, I am looking forward to helping to grow the GPJ Oslo office. GPJ is bringing a new and fresh approach to our industry, and I can´t wait to tell everybody about it."
Commenting on the new international office, Jason Megson, managing director, said: "Christian and his team have grown the GPJ business quickly and decisively from the outset. Working from within such a key venue like The Telenor Arena brings obvious benefits to our client offering. It also demonstrates our wider footprint and ambition of GPJ not only within Norway, but across Scandinavia as a whole."
