Sheraton Grand Conakry opens in Guinea, West Africa

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, part of Marriott International, has opened the Sheraton Grand Conakry, its first property in West Africa.

The hotel features more than 1,300sqm of dedicated meeting space, including a Grand Ballroom along with 15 meeting rooms and a fully equipped business centre. The facilities will be able to cater for both large scale business meetings, and smaller intimate gatherings.

Within easy reach from the international airport, Sheraton Grand Conakry is situated in Conakry’s up-and-coming trendy Kipe district.

All 269 rooms offer ocean views, with the 49 Sheraton Club rooms and suites offering access to the Sheraton Club Lounge, a private space where guests can enjoy complimentary breakfast, drinks and snacks during the day. Leisure facilities include a 300sqm fitness center, an infinity pool and spa.

The all-day dining restaurant, Feast, features Mediterranean flavors, Asian influences and modern interpretations of traditional Guinean cuisine. Guests can try homemade French pastries, freshly brewed coffee and juices at La Parisienne coffee shop and bakery.  Overlooking the sea, Hot & Blue offers tapas and cocktails by the poolside.
