Le Méridien opens hotel in Shanghai

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts, part of Marriott International, has opened Le Méridien Shanghai.

The hotel marks the third Le Méridien and the 34th property in the Marriott International’s portfolio in the city of Shanghai.

The building will include 2,500sqm of versatile event spaces, including the Powerlong Ballroom and the Fei Long Hall; the latter is the highest ballroom in the Minhang District with views of Qibao Old Town. The Grab & Go Library on the lobby floor can also be used as a casual business meeting area.

The hotel features 240 rooms and suites with waterfront views in addition to a fitness center, indoor swimming pool, spa, and four restaurants and lounges.

Latest Recipe features à la carte dishes and international buffets, while Le Mei, the Chinese Restaurant offers authentic Cantonese cuisine. The lobby lounge Latitude 31, serves coffee by day and cocktails and other beverages by night and Sibarita Spanish serves tapas and other Spanish dishes.
