Vox Conference Centre strengthens sales team

Birmingham's Vox Conference Centre has expanded its sales team with a new account manager.

Sally Thomas joins from Aston Villa Football Club, where she spent seven years as part of the conference and event sales team. She will be responsible for the corporate account management of new and existing clients in her new role, and for securing new and repeat business at the five-suite venue.

Sales director James Elston said: "We have just celebrated our first birthday and we can already see that our venue is making a huge impact on the industry, As we look to continue to grow our business we need talented people in the teams behind the scenes."

Thomas said: "I bring with me a wealth of experience in the event sales industry and I am passionate about building client relationships and going the extra mile, so I am delighted to be bringing this to the NEC Group.

 "I have always thrived in a busy sales environment and am looking forward to working on large scale events for some fantastic clients."
