Westin opens first hotel in Hamburg, Germany

Westin Hotels & Resorts, part of Marriott International, has opened The Westin Hamburg in Germany.

The hotel is situated within the Elbphilharmonie: Hamburg’s new architectural landmark which is home to two concert halls. The 630sqm of modern meeting and event space includes eight multi-function rooms and a 24-hour business center.

The building also features 205 rooms and 39 suites with floor-to-celing windows offering panoramic views of the city and port.

International and local cuisines are served at the three on-site restaurants. The Saffron restaurant offers fine dining in the Kaispeicher warehouse building, while The Bridge Bar serves cocktails, small plates and refreshments. The Plaza Foyer provides an informal all-day dining option, serving juices and smoothies from Westin Fresh by The Juicery.

Other facilities include a spa, workout studio, and 20-metre indoor pool. Guests can also participate in the RunWESTIN™ program featuring three- and five-mile running routes through the neighborhood for self-guided active exploration or guided by the hotel’s run concierge.
