Launched this week at IBTM World, the new packages were created in partnership with Bejart Ballet, Welcome Swiss and Ovation.

The first package offers delegates exclusive access to tickets to the ballet before they are released on general sale, as well as a backstage tour of the venue and a private cocktail reception for at least 20 delegates.

A second package allows delegates the opportunity to explore the highlights of the Lausanne region, such as the Chaplin’s World Museum in Vevey, the Lavaux Vineyards and the historic old town.

The final package on offer is designed around four themes:  Lausanne through the Century; the Olympic Capital; Lausanne Artistsl and Innovation and Design.

"Our new incentive packages will provide delegates with the opportunity to visit some of Lausanne’s most famous sites, helping them to better understand Lausanne’s culture and historical background," said Olivier Mathieu, congress and meetings manager at Lausanne Tourism and Convention Bureau.

"The wide range of packages on offer strengthens Lausanne’s positioning as a great destination to host incentives and highlights the rich variety of attractions within the region."

Each package can accommodate groups of between ten and 500.
