NH Collection opens new hotels in Barcelona and Madrid

Hotel brand NH Collection has opened two new five-star hotels in Barcelona and Madrid.

The NH Collection Gran Hotel Calderón is located on the Rambla de Catalunya, Barcelona.

The hotel has 10 rooms for events and meetings, with a total of 700sqm and capacity for 350 people. There is also a terrace with pool and solarium, with views over the city, for outdoor events.

The propert also has 255 rooms and the Don Giovanni Restaurant, which offers Italian cuisine along with creations based on seasonal produce.

Meanwhile, the historic Hotel Suecia in Madrid has also been renovated as a five star NH Collection hotel. With 123 rooms, the building uses Scandinavian inspired décor. The outdoor terrace has 150sqm of floor space and an elevated private area of 40 metres.

The building is located close to numerous tourist attractions including the "Art Walk", containing more than a dozen world-class museums and art galleries, including the Prado Museum, the Thyssen Bornemisza Museum and the Reina Sofia Museum of Contemporary Art.

In-house restaurant Casa Suecia will serve traditional Mediterranean dishes with an international nod alongside signature cocktails.
