Winner: ONE Astellas Live
One Astellas Live, which also picked up the gongs for Internal Communications Event of the Year and Best Event Solution to a Business Challenge, was an impressive event solution bringing together 4,700 employees from 21 countries virtually to celebrate the brand’s 10th anniversary.
The objective of the anniversary celebration was to create a sense of pride and community throughout Astellas. Importantly, it had to be inclusive, something that would connect offices and all employees across Middle East & Africa (EMEA) region.
The event comprised dance, theatre, music, poetry, and film, created from the stories told by Astellas employees, for Astellas employees. Hosted in London, the broadcast bounced between locations throughout the day; each country staging different segments that focused on company values, local culture and their individual achievements.
Results were impressive – 96% said they enjoyed One Astellas, 89% said the stories shared made them proud of their colleagues/team/country.
