Kanuhura to reopen after multi-million pound renovation

Kanuhura resort in the Maldives will reopen its doors on 1 December after an 18-month closure for renovation.

Just 35 minutes from Malé International Airport by seaplane, the private resort will offer 94 villas and suites located along the beach or on pilings above the Indian Ocean. All the villas and suites will have direct access to their own private beach area or a wooden staircase leading into the lagoon.

A wide selection of dining options, bars and activities including yoga, fishing, watersports, tennis and a spa and wellness centre will be available on site. The Kokaa Spa and Wellness Retreat will offer an outdoor beachside spa pavilion, beauty salon, sauna, steam room and cold plunge pool, as well as a fully equipped gym, aerobics and hatha yoga studio.

Guests at Kanuhura will also have exclusive access to Jehunuhura private island with its own beach in addition to private spa treatments and yoga sessions on the island.
