Johan Wilson, who is currently head of CWT’s Nordic region, has been appointed country director of CWT UK & Ireland, starting 1 November. This follows the promotion of CWT UK & Ireland’s senior vice president Chris Bowen to managing director, Northern Europe.

Wilson has been at CWT since 2008 and he has had several roles during that time. Until his successor is in place in the Nordics, he will be responsible for both markets simultaneously.

Speaking about the new role, Wilson said: "It has been an exciting and important journey to meet the demands of the competitive market in the Nordics and now I look forward to working with the teams in the UK and Ireland. It is a market where CWT already has a strong position as the leading travel management company and there is still a lot of room to grow."
