New client wins boosts drp's turnover to £14.5m

Agency drp has recorded a turnover of £14.5m for the 2015 financial year, a 6% increase from the previous year, as it invests profits back into the business.

The growth has been attributed to an increase in business from existing clients, as well as new clients including EE, Fiat, Triumph and law firm Clyde & Co.

While pre-tax profit showed a decline from £568,591 in 2014 to £392,559 this year, CEO Dale Parmenter said the profits had been invested back into staff and facilities. "We actually recorded a profit of around £700,000 but almost half of this was pumped back into the business. We ran a huge training programme, had our 35th birthday party and gave the team a sizeable bonus." He described it as a ‘significant year’ for the company, as it celebrated new business and innovation.

This year, Parmenter said investment has continued, with 22 new staff and around £1m spent on new office space. The company is targeting a turnover of £19m for next year, after a boost from both existing and new clients. "We’ve won a lot of new clients and we’re keen to continue investing in our staff and looking forward to the future."

The company celebrated the launch of its new office last weekwith ‘drpBIGtalk’, an interactive day of tours, thought leadership sessions and entertainment, which was held at the 4.2 acre site on the Ikon Trading Estate in the Midlands.
