Touching down in Barcelona on 29 September, the itinerary began with a trip to a local vineyard to witness the production line of the famous cava grape, before lunch in a wine cellar dating back to the 12th century.

Highlights also included a trip to the Ruins of Empúries, an archeolgical UNESCO world heritage site, where lunch was served on a private table overlooking the Mediterranean. The group then enjoyed a return to Hotel Camiral via light aircraft, which gave memorable views of the northeastern coastline.

The final day included a trip to the host of Formula 1, Circuit de Catalunya. Watching from the presidential box, the group was able to see the last stages of international competition Barcelona Speed.
