The increase has been measured against membership and event enquiries in 2015. Throughout the year LCS has been developing a number of new initiatives to increase interest from prospective venues. These included increasing member engagement through knowledge sharing sessions, strengthening and developing existing activities with the addition of the Big City Site Visit and driving enquiry growth through new marketing initiatives, particularly digital ones.

New members include Guildhall, The Steel Yard, Gibson Hall, Thistle City Barbican, The Mermaid and 47-58 Bastwick Street – The Institute of Structural Engineers.

Oliver Hargreaves, chair of LCS, said: "We have had a strong year at London City Selection, having seen a 15% increase in membership and high levels of booking enquiries through our re-launched website which has demonstrated real value to members."
