The two new appointments include Mark McGauchrane as head of engagement and Mike Donoghue as senior business development director.

The new 1,500sqm office space will accommodate the agency’s growth by providing additional meeting, client preview and administration space, as well as a new warehouse three times larger than the previous one.

The team has grown from 10 employees in 2001 to 22 in 2016. The agency has also recently created a delegate and event management division, to further assist clients with their needs.

"Scotland is a key location for us," said Tim Spencer, managing director of mclcreate. "As our company grows, it is vital that we invest in our Scottish operation, a significant area of business for our company.

"Here, we have enjoyed major successes in recent years with an increasing number of clients taking advantage of our deep expertise across live communication services, covering everything from creative design, conceptualisation and account management to delegate and event management, digital services, equipment supply and full technical support – in short, everything they need to create a successful event experience."
