Now in their sixth year, the C&IT Awards (#CITAwards) celebrate excellence in the B2B events sector and audience numbers are expected to break the 500-barrier for the first time.
Events for brands including Mazda, Dell, Hyundai, Redken, Google, EE and Salesforce feature on the shortlist with agencies vying for one of 21 awards including UK Agency of the Year, Incentive Programme of the Year, UK Conference of the Year, Best use of Social Media/Technology and six sector categories including Automotive, Retail, and IT & Telecoms.
Entries were whittled down from a long list by an expert judging panel featuring corporates, agencies and suppliers, who met to debate and score entries in July at Hilton Bankside, London, following a period of online judging.
Tonight will also see the return of the Best Short-haul and Mid- to Long-haul Destination category, with Bristol, LA, Berlin and Las Vegas all on the shortlist.
