Specialising in events for the professional services sector, Wilson said the agency is on track for a gross profit of £800,000 for the 2016 financial year, a figure she expects to double over the next four years.

"It’s been an interesting journey for Pure Events, having barely weathered the storm in 2008," she explained. "However, in the last three years, we have grown considerably. We’ve strengthened our processes, invested in skill sets for the business and focused on consolidating our client relationships."

She added: "We have a tough growth curve ahead, with the aim to continue to grow our gross profit by 20% year on year.  We aim to do this by growing our accounts internally as well as bringing on board new business."

The agency recently celebrated a series of new account wins including Ocado and Lego.
