The William Vale opens in New York

The William Vale hotel has opened in Williamsburg, New York, welcoming 183 rooms and the city's longest hotel pool to the stylish neighbourhood.

The 183-room property will be home to the longest hotel pool in the city, a large green garden area, 24-room service, a fitness centre, complimentary Wi-Fi, smart TV systems and a range of event spaces.

On site the hotel can arrange activities for guests including rooftop yoga, opera performances, indie movie screenings, painting classes with local artists and group meditation.

"We believe The William Vale will reinvent Brooklyn and we felt it was the right time to bring this resort-inspired hotel to the neighborhood as it is quickly emerging as the go-to destination," said Sébastien Maingourd, general manager of The William Vale.

"The tourism sector in Brooklyn continues to witness an increase in activity and we are thrilled to open our doors to not just locals, but also to discerning international travellers and provide them with luxury service."
