Jeep 75th anniversary Post Course Review

Jeep needed a central location to accommodate guests from all over the country for an interactive event to celebrate its 75th anniversary.

The three-day event hosted different delegates each day. The eight rooms in The Venue at Woburn Forest were used to their full potential, housing eight cars and four sets to demonstrate four eras in
Jeep’s history, including the actual Jeep used in The Dukes of Hazzard. Each room contained a Jeep, requiring skill and organisation to manoeuvre them into position.

Delegates gave a satisfaction score of 4.91 out of 5, with many praising the interaction and creativity. Terry Good, representative at Tebays, which organised the event, said: "Center Parcs understood our needs perfectly, from the communications beforehand to the food and drink."

JaguarLandRover launches F-Pace

Jaguar Land Rover required a shareable communication solution to mark the launch of the new F-Pace vehicle to its employees. The brand needed to demonstrate the vehicle’s features, which they could share via social media.

Agency drp’s ‘Who’s in the Driving Seat?’ initiative focused on the mystery behind a disguised driver’s identity. Impact was delivered by an experiential installation revealing the evolved message ‘You’re in the driving seat’, suggesting that employees are the real drivers of the business.

They were filmed wearing the racing suits worn by the driver of a ‘loop the loop’ at the Frankfurt Motor Show – this was instantly edited with actual footage so that each employee appeared to be the driver of the F-Pace.

BMW hosts July business briefing

Each year, BMW offers students the opportunity of a 12-month industrial placement across a variety of departments. This year the students were tasked with organising BMW’s July Business Briefing, bringing together the Farnborough office and allowing each department to update colleagues on projects, internal news, sales figures and future prospects.

Corporate Events was brought in to support the students with the supply and management of the creation, logistics and technical elements of the event at BMW’s offices. To keep employees engaged, BMW’s Summer Festival branding was used across all content. Coloured tables brightened the space and goodie bags filled with treats were handed out for people to enjoy throughout.

Emily Latham, who took on a 12-month placement in the BMW events team, said: "As always, the guys went over and above the call of duty, staying late to deal with demanding requests."
