Ageas UK appoints new events specialist

Insurance company Ageas UK has appointed a new events specialist to its team, to manage events and hospitality.

Katie Mattingly has joined the company after spending four and half years as an event manager at Hampshire Chamber of Commence, where she organised events and produced marketing materials for the organisation.

In her new role she will be responsible for managing the events team, as well as the company’s events and hospitality strategy.

Speaking about her appointment, head of UK communications, Natalie Shale, said: "We’re pleased to welcome Katie to Ageas. Her experience and creative enthusiasm will further complement the team, with a focus on raising the quality and maximising the return on investment of our event activity."

Meanwhile Rebecca Goodman, who previously held the role, has been promoted to corporate communications specialist. Goodman was part of Fay Sharpe’s Fast Forward 15 programe in 2015 and was mentored by C&IT’s editor-in-chief, Yasmin Arrigo.
