Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts to launch new hotel in China

Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has announced plans to open a new hotel in Beijing, China in January 2017.

Hotel Jen will be situated in China World Trade Center, Beijing, near Guomao Subway Station and offering easy access to attractions such as the Great Wall, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square and Beihai Park.

The property will be designed by Stickman Design and boast a total of 450 rooms and suites. Instead of a traditional business centre, the hotel will have a co-working space, with a café and city views, 13 creative meetings spaces and a multi-function venue with space for 300 guests.

For leisure activities there will be a 500 sqm sport and fitness complex with extensive equipment, indoor fitness and boxing ring, as well as a gastro prib onsite.
