The agency, which recorded a turnover of £2.3m last year, is expecting that to increase to £3m for 2016. In line with its ambitious growth plans, Simply Better Events aims to acheive a turnover of £6m by 2020. The increase comes following a series of client wins across a range of sectors including health and beauty, food and beverage, transport, elite sports performance and retail.
"We’re celebrating our 15th birthday this year and more focussed than ever on where we are heading," said managing director Rob Woodhead. "Much has changed since 2001, yet we’re a family run business and we’ve stayed true to the values we set out with on day one, and will continue to do so."
The agency currently has 18 employees and expect to grow to around 25. "We recruit mainly on attitude, working on the mantra that ‘people buy people’ and when they see how passionate we are about what we do, and how good we are at it, it helps us to keep and win clients," he added.
