Fairmont St Andrews

As part of Fairmont St Andrews’ ongoing renovations, the five-star resort welcomed guests to a showcase of its newly refurbished interiors last night (1 September). Accessible for corporate conferences and functions, the public area renovations, managed by designers RPW, include a complete redesign of the hotel’s Atrium, incorporating a bespoke 60m long ceiling sculpture by award winning artist George Singer, a new restaurant and the Kittock’s Bar.

The refurbishment is part of a wider investment throughout the resort over the next 12 months.

LVP

The Lime Venue Portfolio (LVP), Meetings Needs and Happy Days ‘Christmas with Sparke’ campaign kicked off last weekend with the successful completion of the three peak challenge. Led by Richard Kadri-Langford, head of marketing at LVP, the three day, three mountain challenge raised just under £1,000 for charity. The team scaled Britain’s tallest mountains, Ben Nevis on 27 September, followed by Scafell Pike the following day and Snowden on Monday (29 September.)

Food by Dish

Food by Dish held its annual summer venue party, Indian Summer at No.11 Cavendish Square on Wednesday (31 August). Guests at the event enjoyed both canapés and bowl food options, as well as barbecue and food stalls, showcasing delicious meat and vegetarian options. Entertainment came from a sitar welcoming guests, followed by drumming and dancing.
