Based in Yerevan, the 114-room hotel will feature a range of meeting and event spaces, including a spacious ballroom, eight meeting rooms and a business centre. In addition, the property will be home to wellness facilities such as an indoor pool, spa and a fitness centre, as well an all-day dining restaurant, a cigar club and a lobby bar.

The Alexander will be located in the capital city, close to the Republic Square, the Institute of Ancient Manuscripts, the famous seven fountains and the National Art Gallery, the largest art museum in Armenia.

"On the heels of surpassing the 100th hotel milestone, The Luxury Collection continues its rapid expansion with the signing of The Alexander in the historic destination of Yerevan," said Michael Wale, president, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Europe, Africa and Middle East.
