Groups of between 10 and 170 can treat themselves to two scrumptious menus. A customary roast turkey and all the trimmings set course from its award-winning carvery can be enjoyed for as little as £35pp, but for a twist on traditions, the hotel’s fine dining Indian restaurant, Daawat, is open for bookings at £38pp for 80 guests or more. Swap the usual menu for Tandoor guinea fowl and spiced rice pudding because a good curry is appropriate all year-round.

BMA House - £45pp +VAT

Groups enjoying the festivities at BMA House this year can choose from four winter themed spaces, accommodating up to 320 guests in total.

As soon as groups step through the towering gates into the Courtyard they will be following the smell of artichoke soup and turkey roulade as they’re being prepared for a sumptuous three-course dinner. The evening finishes with a selection of mini desserts and the classic Christmas pudding.

"We want to bring back the magic of Christmas," says Rebecca Hurley, deputy head of events at BMA House. "The key to the success of this is exceptional food and drink. Our festive lunch and dinner packages are suited for those who prefer to treat their guests to a special meal in the luxury of a private space."

The venue’s three-course lunch and dinner menu is available for groups of 35 guests and above from £45pp +VAT and, if booked before 14 October, companies will receive a complimentary festive drinks reception for up to 200.

LSO St Luke’s - £82pp

Christmas at the home of the London Symphony Orchestra promises to be a grandiose occasion inside the 18th-century and recently renovated St Luke’s venue.

The Jerwood Hall can host groups of up to 220 guests for a lavish seated dinner or up to 150 for standing receptions with canapés and bowl food. At £82 per person, groups will reviece complete venue hire, festive theming throughout, use of the cloakroom, security and DJ and dancing to see the night through.

National History Museum’s Earth Hall - £84pp - £129pp +VAT

The Natural History Museum has once again partnered with event management company Ultimate Experience to offer the appealing Earth Hall for Christmas Parties this winter. The space can host dinners for between 120 and 200 guests, while standing receptions and buffets have increased the capacity to 400.

Guest prices start from £84pp +VAT for bowl food, or £129pp +VAT for a seated dinner.
