Meanwhile, the global events team in Manchester has appointed Nicole Unsworth as event manager. She brings five years of event experience, working previously within the event management team at Capita Travel and Events.

Due to continuing demand for a one-stop-shop flights and events service, Katie Poll has also joined the global events team as the travel and events manager. Bringing more than seven years’ experience to the role, she will be working on hotels, venue management and contracting in both London and Manchester.

UK event director, Gemma Collinge, said: "The Appointment Group is pleased to bring on board additional experienced and skilled event managers in response to increasing client demand globally. Anjuli, Nicole and Katie will greatly enhance our flight and event management service."

Group events director, Sam Robson, added: "In response to our clients’ requirements, we have taken the opportunity to strengthen our Manchester team and offer more local contacts for our northern based clients. Nicole’s resident knowledge will be an asset to companies bringing events to the Manchester area."
