The Science Museum launches new event space

The Kensington-based attraction is opening the The Media Space until the 20 December 2016, for corporate events of up to 200 guests.

The venue is made up of three spaces: the Media Studio, Media Gallery and Media Café, accommodating events that require separate breakout spaces or catering areas.

While The Media Space can hold up to 200 guests theatre-style, it can also cater for up to 128 for a seated dinner or lunch and 96 guests cabaret style.

Jodie Guilford, event sales manager at the Science Museum, said: "We are really pleased to be able to offer the Media Space as a new exciting option for our clients to book. We have seen an increase in demand for more flexible, and informal spaces for conferences and breakout sessions so we are expecting the spaces to be a particularly popular choice."

The Media Studio and Media Gallery comes with an LCD projector, screen, PA system, lectern and a small stage.
