AVEX International relocated to Manchester last year, but feedback from visitors and exhibitors indicated that Birmingham's NEC was their preferred location.

Rosie Mills, exhibition and events manager for the AVA, said: "Whilst we had a great show in Manchester, we know that the NEC is the right venue for our event. The experience of our visitors and exhibitors is of utmost important to us, so when they told us that they found the NEC much easier to travel to because of its central location and accessibility, we listened.

"Our experience of working with the NEC has always been extremely positive; they have a brilliant team working behind the scenes so we know we will be in capable hands."

AVEX delegates will be able to benefit from the developments at the NEC since their last visit. Jenny Wright, business development executive at the NEC, explained: "Resorts World Birmingham offers visitors to the NEC campus the opportunity to work, rest or play outside the hours of an exhibition on site, which wasn’t an option when AVEX International was last hosted here.

"We know that everyone involved in the show is really excited about experiencing this new element to our offering for the first time. We look forward to welcoming them all back and are confident that we can help deliver the biggest and best show yet."

AVEX, which is owned by the Automatic Vending Association (AVA) and partnered by the European Drinking Water Cooler Association (EDWCA), is the vending and water industry’s most important event. From the industry’s major manufacturers to leading operators and service companies, AVEX showcases the most up-to-date and complete range of products and services available to the sector.
