Ocado among five new wins for Pure Events

Pure Events has won five new clients this year, including online supermarket Ocado, Lego, law firm Charles Russell Speechlys and two private equity firms.

Managing director Charlotte Wilson said that the agency had won a series of small events with its new clients. "I think in the light of Brexit, more than ever companies are looking for value from their events and our focus has always been on offering that strategic value."

She added that the referendum result was likely to encourage more small-scale meetings, even if larger and most costly events became less popular during this period of financial uncertaintly.

"We’ve been moving into the professionals services industries- it’s become a real niche for us. I think since the vote, it’s more crucial than ever before for clients to get their staff together and communicate changes and updates within the business. It’s particularly affecting our law sector clients, who trade globally. Our aim is to move the event forward, without moving the budget forward."
