Located in the scenic town of Girona, less than 100km north of Barcelona, the opening of Hotel Camiral brings 149 rooms to the popular luxury golf resort.

Incentive groups can enjoy executive suites with private terraces overlooking the course, while three gastronomy options range from 1477 Restaurant suitable for fine dining, a lounge bistro and pool-side bar.

The development has also provided additional private event space, including a meeting room that can seat up to 420 delegates, and a further seven studios ideal for breakout space and smaller groups.

In addition to golf, the hotel will offer a selection of teambuilding and incentive activities for groups wanting a flavour of the Catalonian region, from cultural tours of Girona, to gin an tonic tastings and fishing where groups will be able to cook their catch on-site.

Hotel Camiral is the first phase of the resort’s £45m development plan that will introduce a new vineyard, sports facilities, an equestrian centre and a man-made recreational lake to the site by 2019.
