NYS Corporate director joins GBTA meetings committee

NYS Corporate's sales and marketing director has joined the Global Business Travel Association's (GBTA) meetings committee.

As part of the group, Leanne Fowler will work with other agencies, buyers including Ikea and AstraZeneca and major suppliers including the Marriott Group to look at how to maximise the overall impact of meetings.

Fowler said: "I hope to link the work undertaken in my role as board direct[or] at the Institute of Travel Management with key GBTA objectives to support the committee, increase awareness of meetings management, retain talent within the meetings industry and optimise expenditure."

The meetings committee aims to deliver educational sessions, peer-to-peer meetings, webinars and online courses.
