Clare de Brett, formerly head of venue partnerships at MeetingRooms.com, has launched the London-based agency Select Event Solutions and will serve as managing director.

Caleb Parker, who left his role as CEO at MeetingRooms.com last month and chairs the HBAA’s technology and innovation committee, is a director charged with helping launch the agency and developing its event technology partner network.

Select Event Solutions aims to use technology to streamline venue procurement for clients and increase delegate engagement.

"I believe successful events are measured by attendee engagement," said de Brett. "Did they learn, connect and feel stimulated? Today, technology enables us to deliver better events where delegates are engaged before, during and after an event takes place. That’s what our agency will deliver to clients."
