SW7

The Natural History Museum, Science Museum and Victoria and Albert (V&A) Museum held 'SW7' on Tuesday night (5 July), the group's sixth collaborative industry showcase event. Held at all three museums, the event welcomed event professionals for a night of food, drinks and entertainment.

On arrival at the Science Museum, guests were greeted by an acrobatic performance in a human-size birdcage suspended from the rafters of the Energy Hall, by Full Circle. The Natural History Museum’s Darwin Centre and adjoining courtyard were transformed into a carnival-themed Rio party, while the V&A embraced a 'celebration of summer' in the John Madejski Garden with Champagne, cocktails and live food prepared at a chef’s table by the recipe.

Drp summer conference

Agency drp held its annual summer conference at Drayton Manor Theme Park for 180 people on Monday (4 July). The theme for this year’s conference was ‘Innovation and Collaboration’, which included a series of challenging activities and teambuilding, before late afternoon access to Drayton Manor Theme Park, as well as a BBQ and entertainment in the evening. In addition the agency held 33 two-minute presentations from all departments, to update the team on the company’s progress.

RCP summer party

The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) meetings and events team welcomed more than 150 guests to its ‘Sizzling Summer Party’ on Monday (4 July), organised in partnership with the venue’s contract caterer Fare of London.

The venue’s annual summer party took place in the RCP’s Medicinal Garden, with all guests treated to an array of British produce and taste experiences. These dishes all included an American 4th of July twist, with chilli cheese hotdogs, lamb short ribs and pecan pie on offer. The evening event also offered attendees the chance to have a tour of the historical venue, enjoy wine tasting and a cheese masterclass, as well as participate in a ‘pea shelling’ competition.
