One Warwick Park, a 39-room boutique hotel, will be located in Tunbridge Wells’ historic Pantiles district and will offer planners a number of options for events.
The property is designed in a contemporary style, providing 'intuitive technology' in bedrooms, suites and entertainment spaces. Despite the modern interior, the hotel has taken residence in a reimagined brew house and schoolhouse, connecting the two structures to create a 'harmonious and unified building, filled with light'.
For events, a range of spaces will offer flexibility for celebrations or company gatherings of up to 180 guests. The main function room is the 140sqm Old School House, offering a contemporary white backdrop while retaining the school house’s 19th century timber vaults and 15ft arched windows. Hire includes an pre-function bar area and al fresco terrace ideal for drinks receptions.
The Townhouse Boardroom will accommodate up to eight for small meetings, and includes free wi-fi and interactive smart TV as well as an appointed event host.
Private dining is available in the hotel's double-height atrium at the heart of the hotel, which features bespoke lighting by MOOOI. The space can accommodate up to 20 diners.
Event organisers will also have the option to privatise One Warwick Park, with the takeover of all 39 bedrooms.
Elsewhere, there are four further options for drinking and dining: the resident’s Lounge, The 60 cover Restaurant, The Terrace and the Snug.
All bedrooms at the property will feature a King or Super King bed with hand-finished furnishings, flatscreen TVs, luxurious Temple Spa toiletries, complimentary refreshments and wi-fi.
A gallery space will regularly showcase work from local, national and international artists.
