The first stage of the renovation at the luxury Scottish hotel resort has seen the redesign of the Century bar, the opening of a new bar, Auchterarder 70, and the completion of 35 new luxury bedrooms.
The Century Bar has has a makeover to turn it into a more contemporary space that celebrates Gleneagles’ heritage and Scottish identity. The new Auchterarder 70 bar is situated in the Dormy Clubhouse and is decorated in a 1920s style, offering views over the 18th hole of the King’s Course and serving a range of locally sourced craft beer and snacks.
Gleneagles worked with design house Goddard Littlefair to revamp the 35 luxury bedrooms, suites and linking corridors. The new designs reflect Gleneagles’ past through antiques and art, but also showcase contemporary luxury.
