Selina Chavry, global managing director for Pacific World, said that Myanmar had been working to position itself as a C&I destination for several years. "We have seen an increased interest from our clients looking to host their events there. It has taken us some time to find the right team who can deliver the standard of service that is synonymous with our Pacific World brand and now that we have these people in place, we are ready to receive programme requests from our clients."

Aung Lin Htin, country director at Pacific World Myanmar, added: "Myanmar is capable of mixing world-class, five-star hotels with the warm hospitality and historical culture that is prevalent throughout the country. The destination offers a winning formula, which we are confident will entice companies from all over the world."
