Sledge appoints new business director

Events agency Sledge has hired Ross Easterbrook, formerly of The Live Group, as its new business director.

Easterbrook will be responsible for sales and business development at the agency, with a focus on creating long-term strategic partnerships as well as one-off, large-scale projects around the world.

He joins from The Live Group, where he worked as the head of sales and global account director. Prior to this, he was head of conference sales for the Kable Events portfolio at Guardian News & Media. 

Easterbrook said: "I am really excited about joining Sledge. Our roster of blue-chip companies is very impressive and I look forward to introducing more organisations to the creativity and professionalism of the Sledge team."
