Delta announces Glasgow to New York flights

Delta Air Lines has announced a new flight route between Glasgow and New York, to launch next summer.

The flight, which will commence on 25 May 2017, will be the only nonstop flight between Glasgow and New York – JFK and will operate daily throughout the summer. The news comes after Delta commenced a range of routes between the US and London and Edinburgh this May.

The service will be operated using a 164-seat Boeing 757-200ER equipped with wi-fi in addition to complimentary on-demand in-flight entertainment in all cabins.

The flight will depart New York at 11:45pm, arriving in Glasgow at 11:25am the following morning. The return flight will depart Glasgow at 1:00pm, arriving in New York at 3:40pm.
