Agency The fresh Group has expanded its team with new recruits from Ashfield Meetings & Events and ASDA.

Steph Hughes, ASDA’s ex-head of brand strategy, has come onboard as senior account director, while Sarah-Jane Johnston has joined from Ashfield Meetings & Events, to take on the newly created position of head of account team.

Hughes has more than 20 years of experience, with the last 12 years spent at ASDA, where she held various positions including head of marketing creative and execution, head of in-store marketing and head of events marketing.

Johnston has more than 20 years of experience within the events industry. She has experience working on both B2B and B2C events, in both agencies, the public sector and venues.
