More than 300 event planners will gather at The O2's Building Six for Event360 today (25 May), a day-long forum hosted by C&IT and sister title Event. Event360 included a series of brand and agency panel discussions, Ted-style presentations, technology demonstrations and networking opportunities.

Through a series of Event Huddles, representatives from Barclays and The Black Tomato Agency were on hand to analyse key issues facing the industry, including the challenges of creativity in corporate meetings and crisis response systems during emergencies. Delegates enjoyed a street food lunch and a drinks reception in the late afternoon.

Event professionals gathered for an EU debate chaired by the Meetings Industry Association (MIA) on Monday night (23 May).The MIA debate, which took place at The HAC, London, saw MPs James Heappey and Chris Heaton-Harris, both part of the All-Party Parliamentary Group, join a panel with City Pubs and Britain Stronger in Europe campaigner Clive Watson, Vote Leave’s Luke Springthorpe, Redcomb Pubs’ David Franks, Britain Stronger in Europe and Vrumi.com founder Roddy Campbell, as well as conference and event presenter Jeremy Jacobs and industry trainer and consultant Richard John.

On Thursday (26 May), guests gathered at BMA House’s garden for the first of two pop-up events hosted at the Bloomsbury venue as part of the Chelsea Fringe Festival. Celebrating all things green and garden, guests enjoyed a presentation on how gardens, plant medicines and ‘green prescriptions’ contribute to the health and wellbeing of patients.
